I greet you in the name
of Christ
Baracah Church in the
Home originated in Prescott Valley as Yavapai Christian Center.
We move to Azle
on August 19th,2004 after much Prayer and waiting for the right direction we
were to go in. Two of my dedicated members and their Son packed all of my
house and Church equipment up in 2 28ft. U-hauls. There were also 2 SUVs,
three dogs and 1 cat. What a Trip! Then He directed me to rename the
church Baracah Church in the Home. It was amazing as afterward he gave me
the scripture and verses that Baracah and Azle were in
(2Chronicles20:26,Zechariah 14:5).
The couple who moved me, moved
here also. They're with me and are a great blessing.
I was born-again March
23, 1971. One of my dearest friends found me on the backside of the desert
and lead me to the Lord. I went to her church and was baptized. My
ministry work stared there and I was ordained as a missionary and was sent
to the Navajo Indian tribe in northern Arizona. I came back
discouraged and went back as needed,
In 1982 I met my
husband Charlie. Just as he was to graduate from bible college as a pastor
he dropped over dead with a massive heart attack. It was then my cousin
Barbara O'Barr came and helped me out. We located in Prescott Valley, AZ.
where we stared Yavapai Food bank and GEM. I Graduated from Christ
Unlimited Bible College hand was ordained as pastor. Now That is my story.
I left out all of struggles and disappointments as they would fill a large
book and I don't have enough time to type it out. The old devil put an
incurable disease on me called Multiple Scleroses which has left me unable
to get out of the house but praise God I have a church in the home and can
minister as the Lord leads. May God bless you and yours!
Your servant in Christ,
